The concept behind Piazza SaPa Restaurant was born from a long-held dream of its founders, inspired by their deep passion for gastronomy and hospitality. In 2005, while studying Tourism and Hospitality Management in Switzerland, they interned at a prestigious hotel in Montreux — a charming town by Lake Geneva, surrounded by the Alps. It was there, while serving exquisite seafood platters and exploring Western culinary artistry, that their vision began: to one day bring the sophistication of international cuisine to Vietnam, celebrating its fresh, high-quality local ingredients. After years of dedication and refinement, Piazza SaPa Restaurant was established as a place where Western techniques meet the authentic flavors of Sa Pa — offering a fresh, refined, and memorable dining experience in the heart of Vietnam’s northern highlands.

Piazza SaPa Restaurant is located in the heart of Sa Pa, housed within a beautifully preserved French-inspired villa that reflects the town’s timeless charm. The founders were captivated by the villa’s elegance and have carefully maintained its original architectural details while enhancing it with modern sophistication. Guests can enjoy dining in the serene garden surrounded by Sa Pa’s cool mountain air, experience the vibrant atmosphere of the open kitchen and bar, or relax in the refined indoor dining area with scenic views. Piazza SaPa Restaurant offers contemporary cuisine that celebrates both local freshness and global inspiration. Signature dishes such as cold seafood platters, crudo, and Nikkei-style creations showcase our chefs’ artistry and dedication to quality. Our seafood is sourced daily and prepared fresh — raw, steamed, or grilled — to preserve its natural taste, complemented by sauces and side dishes crafted from Sa Pa’s seasonal produce and select premium ingredients from around the world, including truffles, Mexican chilies, and Swiss Tête de Moine cheese. Beyond seafood, we proudly serve premium imported steaks and meats, grilled over charcoal in the renowned Kamado Joe ceramic grill, which reaches temperatures up to 400°C to lock in juiciness and infuse each dish with a delicate smoky aroma from orange and applewood.
